Ways to Center yourself and do Centering Meditation
Centering Meditation can be done anywhere, anytime. All you need is a clear mind and focus. In order to center yourself, you need to take three deep breaths in and out. Once you are centered, take note of how your body feels right now – the temperature of your skin, the weight of your clothes on your body, how your feet feel against the floor or ground – these are all sensations that can help us feel more grounded in our bodies.
There are many ways to center yourself. I am going to list out some very simple and easy ways so that people who have difficulty meditating, can also practice this.
one:
For this, you can sit serenely in a seat with your feet level on the floor. Close your eyes, take a full breath in and count in reverse from one to three on every full breath you take. When your body is quiet, you will center your expectation on your Solar plexus chakra. This is just 6 inches above your navel. Numerous individuals center around this with the shade of yellow to assist them with envisioning this energy community. Concentrate on the Solar plexus and let all the voices and thoughts in your mind fade away. Now at this time take the charge of your body and mind and you are centered.
Two:
Take deep breaths to your lower abdomen, and feel the breath going inside and out while exhaling. Try to concentrate only on your breath, you will see that the thoughts in your mind are getting faded and your body is becoming lighter, you may not feel the existing pains in your body, this is the time you take charge of your subconscious mind. At this point, you are centered.
Three:
Slowly start taking deep breaths, and try to concentrate on your heartbeats. Try not to listen or pay attention to your thoughts so that stressful events which bother you will stop. After 2-3 minutes you will only listen to the beats of your heart and feel that you are almost disconnected from the surroundings. This is the point when you get centered.
Benefits :
- You disconnect with your past painful events and they stop hurting you. It also help to be in present and remain peaceful.
- Your concentration level becomes more strong and you are able to focus on your work and the chores which have been difficult for you.
- You feel light within your body and while centering all the stress from your mind and body get grounded which makes you feel balanced and peaceful.
